Natural Black HDPE 300 Sheet
HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), Natural Black HDPE 300 Sheet is an extremely versatile product with outstanding properties and good chemical resistance for a wide variety of applications, at a very competitive cost. HDPE has a low coefficient of friction and can be easily cut, machined, welded, and thermoformed for easy fabrication. This material will not splinter, rot or retain harmful bacteria, and is extremely resistant to cleaning agents. HDPE can be bonded with TAP Poly-Weld and/or mechanically fastened.
WHAT IS HDPE
HDPE is a thermoplastic made from petroleum. It is highly durable and will not splinter or rot. Its high tensile strength and corrosion resistance mean it can be used in a wide range of applications, including those that involve sharp items or highly corrosive materials. It resists absorbing harmful bacteria, and this means its exceptional for use in food service facilities where bacteria resistance is critical.HDPE is used to make bottles for fruit juice, milk, water, kitchen cleansing products and even furniture. It has been used in recent years for garden furniture as it resists the weather and can be cleaned very easily. It is lightweight which means furniture made from this material can be handled and transported very easily. It is an ideal material for the injection moulding process making it suitable for batch and continuous production.
High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) sheet is extremely strong against impact, abrasion-resistant, and exhibits a low coefficient of friction. The material is also moisture, stain, and odor-resistant, and is FDA approved for use in the food processing industry (mainly for cutting boards). The material's durability makes it a perfect match for a variety of applications such as water tanks, chute linings, bottle/bottle cap production, and numerous other industrial uses. Borated HDPE offers radiation protection in nuclear facility applications.
SIZES
Abosn carries all sizes of High-Density Polyethylene sheet up to 96" x 240" and can cut to size or machine with CNC routers to any desired shape.

PROPERTIES
The rigidity and tensile strength of the HDPE resins are considerably higher than those of the low and medium-density materials. Impact strength is slightly lower, as is to be expected in a stiffer material. Values remain high when compared to those of many other thermoplastic materials, especially at low temperatures.
APPLICATIONS
Mechanically ground HDPE resins are used to rotationally mold large, complex-shaped products such as fuel tanks, trash containers, dump carts, pallets, agricultural tanks, highway barriers and water, and waste tanks for RVs. Additionally, the HDPE sheet is often extruded with a pebble finish and is used as a cutting board in a variety of industry markets such as meatpacking, butchering, and more.
Standard Colors:
Comes in all colors you can think of and also can be produced with 2 colors like Red-Yellow-Red, Yellow-Black-Yellow, Blue-Yellow-Blue, Yellow-Red-Yellow, Green-White-Green, any other colors according to customers' requirements.
